    It would be nice if you could run the code you have entered or typed. This will greatly help teach others by demonstrating, and it allows you to test your code.

  2. Add a chat window

    Currently I need to have another chat app open e.g. Slack. Would be nice to have the ability to chat in Codeshare.

  3. Run code

    There are other sites that run code in several languages (https://ideone.com/ for example). It would be nice if you could run at least some of the popular interpreted ones like python, javascript, ruby, etc

    A option to lock the codepad, updating it to read-only. It could also have a sidebar for user comments/shouts.

    Create multiple tabs to be able to see multiple files (eg header file and cpp file) in the same window. Kind of like a web browser but in the window for multiple files.

  12. Claim a codeshare

    My friend and I have a codeshare we use in college often when we work on projects together. I'd like to claim this codeshare as my own and perhaps put a password lock on it. A way to prevent people from hoarding codeshares would be to only allow users who are active/have been registered for a certain amount of time claim a codeshare, and once per account.

    Please add an indicator which will (for example) green if changes are saved. Then people won't think that changes can be losen if the close page

    Add a password option to the Settings menu to prevent public access to code. If code could be kept private it would allow us to use it for much more.

  18. Custom tab size is currently ignored for auto indent when inserting new lines

    When I use a tab size of 4; the tab key inserts 4 spaces as I would expect. But, when I use the return key; it indents with 2 spaces instead of 4.

  20. Add AUDIO CALL button

    It would be great if we could make an audio call outside the video call option, this is good option for people who is having poor/unstable internet connection.
