Mobile App
Create an app for Codeshare! It’s great on my desktop, but my iPad doesn’t feel right (its in the web browser and not a native app).

Word Wrap!
Without word wrap it's pretty much unusable for many LaTeX documents, for example, where it's normal to have very long lines.

Browse code set to public
You should be able to browse code set to public. Of couse to do this you need a privacy setting in the first place, which should be automatically set to private. There can then be a browse/search page, with the public codes and code made by or shared with me.

In editor settings : add a checkbox to toggle view of people's selections
While sharing with several users, if some of them are selecting the code (Ctrl+A , Cmd+A) to copy/paste it , everyone is seeing the selection highlights, which can be really embarrassing to read the initial code.
Adding a simple checkbox in the preference to toggle that behavior would be helpful for readability :)

Auto-Detect Code
I believe that you should set it to auto detect the code when you begin the document (<!DOCTYPE HTML>, @echo off, etc.)

Inserting tabs instead of spaces

Need to auto re-indent, for OCD reasons.
Every time I copy some codes, all the indentation are mixed up.

Tab button behavior
I really hate to press space 4 times instead of pressing tab.

Log in with google / facebook
i suggest you, to allow user to log in with Google account or Facebook account.
It's easy to implement and faster for use to sign in !:)

A function that will allow an owner to protect pieces of code from being deleted

If you need to visually depict an idea or question, I would recommend allowing the person to be able to have a whiteboard area that allows someone to use their finger (if touch display) or their mouse to draw the picture.

rainbow parens
Clojure and other Lisp dialects are really hard to write/read without rainbow-colored parenthesis so it is easy to match open paren with the close paren. This is true for other brace types too ([], (), {}).
It isn't uncommon for the last line of a function in Clojure/Lisp to end with something like this:
))]))}))))))
Good luck telling if you're missing a parenthesis or not without color. :)

See who changed the code and how they changed it, while you weren't there, could be also used to debug code when it stops working, you could just return to a previous working version and either just delete the stuff that don't work or try to fix them with the code that worked the last time.
