  2. Selected Tab size for Backspace and linebreak and replace with 4 spaces

    Hi, i use codeshare to programm stuff with my friends, in most cases we need a tab size of 4. It would be nice if this selected Tab size would be replaced with 4 spaces, because python for example doesnt except tabs, it only excepts 4 spaces. Also it would be good, if the selected tab size works for backspace aswell, because if i select tab size 4 then the backspace is still the default "2" and thats kinda not what you want. Also if you press enter or shift+enter after an if block it uses the default tab size…

  3. Don't interfere with browser/OS keyboard shortcuts

    When I have a codeshare tab focused (Firefox 57 on Mac OS X), it blocks the OS's standard Command-H keyboard shortcut to hide the foreground application, instead bringing up a 'Replace' dialog box (which looks broken, since it has only one input field, for a string to replace, but nowhere to enter a replacement string?). This is frustrating when I'm quickly switching between looking at code a colleague has sent me and Slack where we are discussing it.

  4. Is there any time limit for video call?

    What is the maximum duration of video call? Nothing is mentioned about it on side.
    I mean If my iteration with my friends continued for more than a hour , will it disconnect?

  7. Install the codes

    For example if u press a button beside menu on code threes a download button it would be useful if u don't have coding programs like me

  8. Need to auto re-indent, for OCD reasons.

    Every time I copy some codes, all the indentation are mixed up.
    So, a button would be great to auto re-indent the lines.

  9. Copy paste issue

    so i copy pasted a code and tried sharing.. the other person could not see.. i had to press enter to have it saved. not a big bug but it would help if it saves on copy paste too at the start. Good software though helpful :)

    i suggest you, to allow user to log in with Google account or Facebook account.
    It's easy to implement and faster for use to sign in !

  12. In editor settings : add a checkbox to toggle view of people's selections

    While sharing with several users, if some of them are selecting the code (Ctrl+A , Cmd+A) to copy/paste it , everyone is seeing the selection highlights, which can be really embarrassing to read the initial code.

    Adding a simple checkbox in the preference to toggle that behavior would be helpful for readability :)

  15. cmd + arrow up/down should go to top or bottom of the page

    When pressing CMD + up/down arrow on a mac the cursor should be, in my opinion, sent to the top or bottom of the file.

  17. i have a suggestion

    i think sometimes we are showing our code to many people, but want some part of the code to be inaccessible to some the viewers.
    so basically you should include a box of which people are seeing our code and also we should be able to highlight text to public or specific to some people. this will make this site super professional.
    i also want to thanks the whole team for providing such a good service for free.

    I am a big fan of emmet coding and i love the concept of codeshare. I wish the emmet coding is implemented in codeshare so that it will give developers power to write code at lightening fast speeds.
